British barefooters seem to be taking the lead.....

What can I say? I checked readership states yesterday and found almost HALF of our traffic lately has come from across the pond in the United Kingdom. They have finally unseated our German friends from second place in traffic and are threatening to overtake the USA!

Some Americans might be more perturbed, but I say that our oldest ally will help keep us on our toes!

This past September, Brits attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of barefoot walkers at once in a 3K and 5k walk. The events took place in Nottingham to raise money to buy shoes for impoverished children.

There are a million great reasons to go barefoot...when it is by choice. I can't think of a better one than helping children in need.

The Nottingham Post reported that before this September's event, India was the official record holder for the biggest 3K and 5K barefoot walk with 7,050 participants.

As of right now, I'm still surfing for the answer: did they break the record? We're not sure yet!

We'll keep looking!

Dear British readers: If Brits have broken the record, do tell us!!!

Blessings!
